Must Haves for Surviving the Summer Heat During Pregnancy

No matter what trimester you’re in, summer heat and pregnancy can be a struggle.

It’s important that you take extra precautions to keep you and baby comfortable when the tempertures are high.

My son was born in October and a good chunk of my pregnancy was in the summer.

Even as fall was approaching, we were still experiencing warmer weather in the Chicagoland area. There was a lot more swelling and exhaustion as time went on.

Here are 5 products that will help keep you comfortable during a summer pregnancy.

1. Sunscreen

First things first: protect your skin! I personally used this Babyganics sunscreen during my pregnancy.

2. Comfortable Maternity Swimsuit

There’s no better feeling than getting into a nice cool pool on a hot day.

3. Dresses/Rompers

The last thing I wanted to do was wear pants while pregnant, so I LIVED in dresses! I wore these Amazon dresses constantly and loved that I was able to dress them up or down.

4. Water Bottle

It probably goes without saying, but staying hydrated is extra essential when you’re pregnant.

Be sure to have a water bottle to use whether you’re at home or on the go.

Lastly, another great way to protect yourself from the sun is to wear a sun hat!
