1. Outdoor Toys

The playground equipment is fun, but sometimes it can get too hot depending on the day. For this reason, it doesn’t hurt to have a few backup items! A few options are:

2. Sunscreen and/or Bug Spray

Sunscreen is definitely an essential item to bring to the park. And bug spray is also a good thing to have on hand if mosquitos are present.

3. First Aid Kit

One of the most important items to bring with you to the park with your toddler is a first aid kit. While playgrounds are fun, they also have hazards. Make sure you’re prepared to clean up some scrapes.

4. Hat

If your toddler is like mine, hats may not stay on. But if you’re one of the lucky ones (LOL), you’ll want to pack a hat for some extra protection from the sun.

5. Sunglasses

Another item that may be hit or miss, but definitely worth packing sunglasses if your little one will keep them on.

7. Stroller/Wagon

Bringing the stroller or some sort of wagon with you to the park is probably a given but still worth mentioning.

Unless you live right next door to the playground, you probably want to have something handy to help you carry all of these things and not just a heavy bag.

10. Diapers/Changing Pad
