How to Use Fetch Rewards to Turn Points Into Gift Cards
Do you feel like you are constantly hearing about apps that help you make money or save money? Over the years, I’ve read about such apps.
I’ve always been curious but for the longest time, never followed through with trying them out.
Fetch Rewards was one of those apps I discovered and decided to finally give it a try.
Personally, I was intrigued by this app because of the simplicity. I was going to spend the money anyway, so why not take 2 seconds to snap a picture of my receipt?

What is the Fetch Rewards App?
Fetch Rewards is an app where you can earn points by taking pictures of your receipts. You can then redeem those points for a huge variety of gift cards.
Seriously, it’s that simple.
How it Works
A basic overview is to shop as you normally would. ANY receipt can be redeemed: grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations.
Literally anywhere you spend money and get a receipt, you can upload onto the app.
Below is the tiniest glimpse of places you can redeem gift cards for.
Once you’re done shopping, you hop onto the app and take a picture of your receipt. The receipt must visibly show the store name, date, and the total amount spent.
If you’re unable to take a picture of your receipt right away or forget, don’t worry. You have up to 2 weeks to upload your receipt!
Each receipt will earn you a minimum of 25 points. You earn extra points for buying certain brands.
With that being said, you will earn the most points at places like grocery stores or Target.
You can also earn some extra points by taking advantage of the daily rewards. Once you snap a receipt, you can “spin” to win some extra points. You can earn anywhere between 5 points and 100,000 points!
It really is as simple as shop, take a picture, and earn points!
How To Use Fetch Rewards & Get The Most Out Of It
I know with apps like these, it can feel like a scam.
But truly, the only way for an app like this to not work for you is if you become obsessed with the points and therefore buy items you don’t need.
The best way to get the most out of the Fetch app is to not overthink it!
Don’t go out of your way to buy brands or items you weren’t planning on buying just for the points
Personally, I don’t always look at promotions for certain brands. Sometimes I end up surprised at the amount of points I earned because I’ll end up buying brands that were worth extra points without realizing!
I want to really drill this into your brain: shop as you normally would!
Just view these apps as tiny rewards and perks on the side. They should never be viewed as a side job or something to supplement an income.

What Types of Gift Cards Can I Redeem?
There is a HUGE variety of gift cards you can redeem. Different categories include retail, restaurants, entertainment, fashion, and more.
Personally, I like to let my points accumulate until I have enough to earn multiple gift cards $25 or more.
